Skyhigh Airplane (March 2021)

Acrylic on canvas

110 x 114 cm

The painting is done by a picture from an airplane above the sky reflecting with the sun. The colors and the reflection is very cool. It is a large rectangular painting showing detailed effect. Edvard Munch influenced my use of colors and mixing. His sky pattern and texture is really what I wanna look into as well.

Reflection of Mountains (October 2020)

Acrylic on canvas

110 x 114 cm

Reflection of mountains in Norway. The colours of the reflection breaks down to a very interesting piece because of the mixing of colour experiences. It is a large rectangular painting showing the detailed effect of abstract motif. Graham Gercken influenced my use of colours and mixing and the idea of best possible reflection. I used a very similar idea with the mixing and some use of the colours.

Rusty Sculpture (December 2019)

Acrylic paint

20 x 20 x 1 cm

In this piece I made a painting of a rusty water tank on the street in Paris. This painting gives a very interesting part of all the patterns of just rust and shows how interesting it can actually be. I used a round canvas for this piece because it gets the piece in more focus and easier to spot the details. This piece didn’t have any artist that gave me any special motivation or inspiration to do. I was more giving myself inspiration of doing this.

Traffic Light (September 2019)

Digital Photograph

46 x 64 cm

This traffic light is very standard with the design and the background is simple and smart. The change between dark black and light black creates a special shadow which is interesting. This is how a traffic light should look and add depth to the piece. The colours are so similar but you can still find the 3D pattern and lines. The background was created so it doesn't look like a normal traffic light standing on a table. It is created so the view of when you look in the sky when you are in the car. I didn’t have any special artist that I looked at while creating this painting.

Line Pattern with Leaf (September 2019)

Digital photography

28 x 30 x 4 cm

Line creation with nice pattern background. It shows a very beautiful creation and how the leaves build up on each other. It describes how they are caught in prison, because they are under the fence. The details are so small and nice and all the mixed colours together create a special background. The fence over all the leafs are so different in color so the leaf gets a special focus so it can be easier to see the broken details. William Morris gave me a very open eye on what to look at and I found out that this picture gave much more meaning than it looks and if you study the details of it, you can see many cool textures that you usually miss.

Story Pyramid (October 2019)

Ceramic, oxides and glaze

17 x 14 cm

The Story Pyramid piece, I wanted to show how to connect patterns and animals into a story. This 3D artwork of clay shows a different perspective than a 2D drawing or painting cannot show. It makes it look more realistic and more interesting to look at. I wanted to create this piece because I wanted to show what the different patterns on a 3D piece can do compared with a 2D piece. Henri Rousseau was an artist that gave me the idea and inspiration of creating this work. He looked at very many details and a story behind it.
