University Counselling

How do university counsellors help ISP students?

We believe that...

  • learning is not a journey to a destination, it is a mindset.
  • unlimited personal development is possible.

The University and Career Counselling Team at the International School of Paris is committed to supporting students and families in exploring the "best fit" options for their post-secondary pursuits.

Our experienced and knowledgeable counsellors are available to help our high school students and families throughout the process of exploring higher education and career options and preparing applications to colleges and universities worldwide. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, informative and reassuring programme to support students and families through the exciting, but often daunting, process of navigating the next steps after graduation.

University Application Assistance

Our counselors guide students through every step of the university application process.

The Career Day event takes place every spring, providing students with the opportunity to speak to professionals from diverse career fields. Past presenters have included a Google AI researcher, a White House climate policy advisor, and a sustainable fashion designer.

ISP has previously partnered with Bespoke Education (www.bespokeeducation.com) to host SAT prep classes and mock tests. Our counseling team also advises on other tests, such as the SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS, BMAT/UCAT, Oxbridge examinations, and university-specific examinations.

Our counselors specialise in university admissions in different geographic areas and are available to guide and support students throughout the application process. This may include researching and building university lists, brainstorming and refining personal statements, conducting mock admission interviews, preparing and submitting documentation and advising on enrollment decisions.
