The International School of Paris is the first IB continuum school in France, and offers the IB Programmes throughout the school: the IB Primary Years Programme, the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme. The school is accredited by CIS/NEASC and draws on its considerable experience and expertise to offer an academically challenging, socially engaged and culturally rich education for 700 students in the heart of one of the world’s most important cities.

 

Child Protection Employment/Volunteer Practices

The International School of Paris is committed to the safety and protection of children. ISP’s Child Protection Policy and safeguarding guidelines apply to all faculty, staff, employees, volunteers, and students who represent the school and who interact with children or young people in both a direct and/or unsupervised capacity.  We follow rigorous recruitment and vetting practices requiring all potential employees to provide professional references, undergo criminal background checks, sign a self-disclosure statement reporting any criminal or misdemeanor convictions, and respond to questions focused on child safeguarding during the interview processes. In accordance with our Child Protection Policy, employee candidates will also be asked to provide official criminal background checks from all previous countries in which they have lived for the last 10 years.

General Application Requirements

For Teaching positions, applicants must have Teaching Qualifications. IB experience is a plus. 

Aligned with the recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection, we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection.

Selected candidates will be invited to an interview and undergo pre-recruitment procedures. In accordance with our Child Protection Policy, they will also be asked to provide official criminal background checks from all previous countries in which they have lived for the last 10 years.

Equal Opportunities for Women and Men Index, March 1, 2023 : 91/100

The International School of Paris is pleased to announce a score of 91/100 for the reference period.

The index is calculated on the basis of four indicators:

  • The pay gap between women and men. (This indicator identifies the average earnings of women and men.) [31]
  • The difference in the distribution of individual increases. (This indicator assesses the percentage of women and men who received a salary increase in the year.) [35]
  • The number of employees increased on their return from maternity leave. (This score is awarded to companies which grant a salary increase to women returning from maternity leave.) [15]
  • The parity among the 10 highest remunerations. [10]

Data Protection Notice

The International School of Paris, 6 rue Beethoven 75016 Paris (ISP) pays utmost attention to your personal data. ISP is collecting the hereby requested personal data for purpose of the selection processes for the job you are applying and in case of subsequent employment opportunity specifically for such job or subsequent applications for employment made by you at ISP. The personal data collected may include the resume and any cover letter or attached correspondence, employment/education history, any information received from referees. It is your responsibility to ensure referees’ agreement for transfer to ISP of their details and clearance of ISP's right to contact them. ISP may also ask for your criminal records as part of the recruitment process (in application of French law and collective bargaining IDCC 2691) but ISP will ask for your explicit consent and ensure that any such information will be treated as confidential. The requested data is necessary to take steps (at your request) prior to entering into a contract execution (if your application is successful) and for ISP’s legitimate interests. If you do not provide such data ISP will not be able to process your employment application and it will be rejected. ISP is the data controller. The data recipient are ISP’s departments of Human Resources (exclusive recipient of criminal records), Finance, the Pedagogical Leadership Teams and ISP’s Direction and Board of Trustees. Should you be unsuccessful with your application ISP will destroy your application form after one year of its submission. If you are successful with your application and a work contract is signed between you and ISP your application form will be held for the duration of your work contract and then archived separately for unlimited duration unless otherwise required by applicable law. By submitting your personal data and application for employment, you warrant the truthfulness and accuracy of the information you provide to ISP. On occasions, ISP will contact third parties to verify information you have provided and other facts relating to you and your application, for example references.
