Community

The International School of Paris community is made up of students, staff, parents and alumni. As soon as your child is enrolled in our school your family will automatically be part of this welcoming, open-minded and generous group. Our community represents over 60 nationalities and speaks just as many different languages.

We have one common goal: to provide the students with the best educational and personal experience possible during their time at ISP. This passion unites and motivates us to exchange our experiences and share our advice from child care, to homework, to school events, to local survival tips, to making new friends.

Every day students, staff and parents alike gather new knowledge by active learning. We work together, take risks and inquire into our own and other cultures. We also absorb information from observing and listening to others within our own ISP community as well as from the world around us.

We find ways to communicate our cultural learning. We value the similarities and differences each person's cultural heritage brings to our lives. We celebrate and share our diversity on a daily basis both inside and outside the classroom in order to enrich the learning experience for our students and the whole ISP community. We are all part of preparing our students to succeed in a complex world.

We are a dynamic, all-inclusive and ever changing community due to the cycle of expatriation but chances are that by the time you and your family leave ISP all become part of our Alumni community, and will have made a friend for life, or two, or three!

"I'm really happy that our family happens to be in Paris and at ISP at this time. The positive energy and atmosphere in the school are amazing, and I'm grateful to be able to join in and experience this." - Marita Haasbroek, ISP parent
