General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

You may be aware that on May 25, 2018 new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) took effect. Below is a link to our Data Privacy Policy which outlines the school's use of your personal information and your rights and those of your children as under GDPR.

We encourage you to review this policy.

If you have any concerns about how ISP processes and protects your personal data please contact the Data Protection Officer at dpo@isparis.edu.

Additionally, it is necessary to note that technology is an important tool for teaching and learning. Students at the International School of Paris are introduced to digital technology and online collaboration from the earliest years.

Our curriculum gradually increases the degree of student autonomy in parallel with their development of digital citizenship.

The Google platform is used throughout a student's time at ISP. Early years students share their work through Seesaw and older students have access to curriculum, assessment and reporting on ManageBac.

The new GDPR regulations require parental consent for any student under the age of 16 who is given access to learning platforms storing personal data such as name and email address.

The figure below gives a simple high level overview of what these platforms are and the stage in a child's education where they are used.
