This year is particularly special as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the International School of Paris. This milestone is a testament to our rich history and tradition of excellence, as well as a moment to look forward with optimism. Our year-long celebration will begin with a special anniversary event at the Musée Jacquemart-André on October 3rd, where we will honor our past, celebrate our present, and envision our future.
ISP 60th Anniversary Ticket Sales opened last Thursday, 12 September.
Please note that all current ISP families should purchase their tickets from the category marked "ISP Current Families". The ticket price is 50 EUR per person, and families are limited to 2 tickets per family.
As this venue is limited in capacity, we alert that 350 tickets will be available to current ISP parents. There will be a waiting list established should demand exceed our ticket supply. This is an adult-only event, so please book your childcare early!
As noted, 100% of ticket sales will be donated to three non-profit organizations—two of which support local underprivileged youth—selected with input from ISP faculty and staff, and with potential to partner with ISP to enhance our students’ learning experience.
- Apprentis d'Auteuil - Originally founded in 1886 in the Auteuil neighborhood of the 16th arrondissement, this global foundation is today approaching 160 years of dedicated service on behalf of vulnerable young people and families, with a mission to educate, train and accompany those in need
- Institut Curie - Formed in 1970 from the merger of the Institut du Radium and the Curie Foundation, Institut Curie is focused on research, teaching, and treating cancer. ISP has a longstanding relationship with raising money for cancer research, and we continue to honour all those in our community who have been personally impacted
- Transmettre un horizon à tous - THOT - Thot is the Egyptian God that embodied the concept of Knowledge. This French association is based in Ile-de-France and has for mission to offer refugees and asylum seekers French languages courses/certification and support towards professional integration
You will also see the option to add an additional donation to the ISP International School of Paris Association (Association loi 1901), if you so wish. Your generous donations to the International School of Paris Association will help enhance the learning experience of all students, by supporting innovative school enhancement projects and key strategic initiatives.
We hope to see many of you there as we celebrate six decades of inspiring and empowering students!
A heartfelt thank you to the many parents who attended the Whole School Parent Coffee event last Wednesday at our Cortambert campus!
It was a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect with Antoine Delaitre, our Head of School, along with the School Board, School Leadership Team, and Parent Teacher Association (PTA), while enjoying coffee and discussing various aspects of life at ISP. The event also provided a welcoming space for both new and returning families to meet and engage with key members of our school community.
Your involvement and enthusiasm as parents are essential to our school’s success, and we look forward to more opportunities to collaborate and grow together.
In the summer of 2024, ISP's Sustainable Development Team embarked on a meaningful journey to Otjimanangombe, Namibia. There, students dedicated their efforts to supporting underserved rural communities by enhancing the local school environment. Their work included constructing new classrooms and other school facilities, teaching various subjects, and introducing students to foreign languages and cultures. The team also raised awareness about important health issues and supported local initiatives. All of this was achieved sustainably—minimizing waste and equipping the community with the knowledge and resources to continue improving their environment for years to come.
In addition to their hands-on contributions, the students formed lasting connections with the local community, learning from their traditions and way of life. This unique experience left a profound impact on the students, fostering a deeper sense of global responsibility and cultural awareness.
As noted in various communications, we will have several opportunities in the coming weeks and months to honour ISP's 60 years of history. To mark this milestone, we are thrilled to unveil two special anniversary logos that highlight different aspects of the school’s identity. These logos will be prominently featured throughout the year in our communications and events.
These logos represent not only our proud history but also the vibrant future of ISP. They will serve as a visual reminder of the school’s lasting impact on generations of students and our continued commitment to excellence.
We’ll soon introduce a special section in our newsletter to celebrate the rich heritage of our school. Stay tuned for fascinating insights into ISP's past! .
ISP is excited to announce that we have a new range of teamwear and merchandise available starting this school year. We have partnered with Unique Uniforms, who supply our team playing uniforms, to make this range available via a custom online store.
