Work in the heart of Paris
Three unique campuses in the 16th arrondissement of Paris specifically tailored for primary, middle and high school teachers & students.
Our PTA hosted a fantastic quiz night on December 1st! It was a fun night for parents and ISP staff members to connect and test their knowledge with fun and unique trivia questions.
At ISP, we are lucky to witness these special moments of positive and festive parent involvement!
As the telethon is fast approaching (you can read more information here) ISP students Laszlo and Emerick have created a video about cystic fibrosis in order to raise awareness and improve our understanding of this otherwise rarely known disease that impacts a larger population than we may know.
The sickness was discovered in 1938, by a pathologist, Dorothy Andersen, based on an autopsy of childrens that would pass away due to malnutrition, she called the disease “cystic fibrosis of the pancreas”. It had previously been known as “mucoviscidosis,” referring to the thickening of mucus.
If you would like to contribute to contribute to fight against neuromuscular diseases, you can make a donation here.
Lou (Grade 11 student) is organizing a food drive for the French charity 'Les restos du coeur', which is known for distributing food packages and hot meals to those in need.
ISP students are encouraged to participate by bringing some of the food mentioned on the poster to donate in cardboard boxes in the reception area at Cortambert and in the entrance of Building A in Beethoven. Join us in supporting a worthy cause!
A Big Thank you to the whole school Community for supporting 'Love in a Box' this year across ISP! This initiative aims to provide gifts to thousands of children in need in the Paris region.
On November 22nd, it was ISP’s Environmental Conference for students!
This year's conference featured a varied set of student-led and guest speaker presentations, from Climate Change and its impacts on Global Food Production to Sustainable Jewelry and Ocean Degradation. In addition to the many contributions from current students, it was particularly pleasing to hear from Grayson Houston-Henderson an alumnus (Class of 2025) who has created The Sea Turtle Conservation Fund. Grayson’s passion for the plight of sea turtles was evident, and our current students were clearly moved by his presentation. The other guest speaker was an IB DP international school graduate who presented aspects of her research on ocean-related Plastic Pollution.
Grade 4 & 5 CUBS (Community Unites Buddies of Service) students also visited the Secondary School's Environmental Conference to experience the event and gain some ideas that could be potentially implemented in the Primary School.
