We are thrilled to announce the creation of a special 60th Anniversary Timeline and 60th anniversary video that retrace the remarkable history of ISP, from its founding in 1964 to today.
Nestled in the heart of Paris among the city's iconic landmarks, ISP has flourished as an international educational community for over six decades. Our journey began at Pershing Hall, a historic building with deep roots connecting France to an international Anglophone community. From the start, ISP has been defined by an innate sense of family, driven by our mission as a not-for-profit educational institution.
From our humble beginnings to the vibrant three-campus institution we enjoy today, ISP has continuously evolved to meet the needs of our dynamic and diverse community. As we celebrate our 60th anniversary, we invite you to explore the milestones that have shaped our school’s history, from Monique Porter’s pioneering vision to the vibrant, forward-thinking institution we are today. Please take a moment to visit and share our timeline, which is a tribute to the rich heritage and bright future of ISP.
Our 60th anniversary celebration at the stunning Musée Jacquemart-André was a truly memorable evening, with over 300 guests in attendance, including representatives from 16 embassies, reflecting the diverse international community we serve. It was a special honor to welcome Caroline Porter, the daughter of our founder, Monique Porter. Caroline, one of the first eight students when the school opened 60 years ago, embodies the spirit and vision that her mother instilled in the school from the start.
Attendees enjoyed a memorable experience, exploring the dazzling treasures of the newly opened Villa Borghese exhibit alongside the museum's stunning permanent collection—considered one of the most beautiful in Paris—all while sipping champagne.
In addition to celebrating, we were proud to give back to the community. Thanks to everyone’s participation, we raised 10,000€, which was donated to two wonderful local non-profits: Apprentis d’Auteuil, which empowers at-risk youth, and Thot, which provides educational opportunities for refugees and migrants. These organizations reflect our values of compassion and global responsibility, and we are proud to support their missions through this event. Additionally, we are delighted to announce that over €11,000 in generous donations have been made to further support ISP’s programs!
This remarkable evening sets the tone for an exciting year of reflection, celebration, and continued support for both our school and the wider community. Take a glimpse into the unforgettable evening by exploring our event photo gallery. Photo credit: Jean-François Deroubaix.
Last Friday, the PTA hosted the 'PTA Presents Paris' event to help parents connect with each other and gain practical knowledge about life in Paris. The morning featured interactive presentations by experts on topics such as accessing the French healthcare system, mental health resources, tips for living in France, French language classes for expatriates, and driving in Paris.
After a light lunch, parents could explore a vendor fair, where they could meet professionals offering services like music lessons, sports, and wellbeing activities, all recommended by the school community. The PTA was enthusiastic about creating a supportive environment for both new and long-term parents at the event. It provided a unique opportunity to not only learn essential skills for navigating life in Paris but also to build connections within the school community.

- ISP is turning 60.... and that only happens once!
Please note that all current ISP families should purchase their tickets from the category marked "ISP Current Families". The ticket price is 50 EUR per person, and families are limited to 2 tickets per family.
A reminder that this venue has limited space capacity, 350 tickets are available to current ISP parents.
You will also see the option to add an additional donation to the ISP International School of Paris Association (Association loi 1901), if you so wish. Your generous donations to the International School of Paris Association will help enhance the learning experience of all students, by supporting innovative school enhancement projects and key strategic initiatives.
We hope to see many of you there as we celebrate six decades of inspiring and empowering students!
A heartfelt thank you to the many parents who attended the Whole School Parent Coffee event last Wednesday at our Cortambert campus!
It was a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect with Antoine Delaitre, our Head of School, along with the School Board, School Leadership Team, and Parent Teacher Association (PTA), while enjoying coffee and discussing various aspects of life at ISP. The event also provided a welcoming space for both new and returning families to meet and engage with key members of our school community.
Your involvement and enthusiasm as parents are essential to our school’s success, and we look forward to more opportunities to collaborate and grow together.
