    A Message about School Closure

    Dear ISP Community,

This is an important coronavirus COVID-19 update.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced on the evening of Thursday, 12 March that all academic institutions will be closed starting Monday, 16 March. This directive will last until a new directive to re-open schools is issued. ISP, therefore, now enters into a period of school closure effective 17:00 Friday, 13 March. This is a scenario that, whilst challenging for us all, we have been preparing for over the past weeks.

During such time as ISP is physically closed to its teachers, students and larger community, we will continue to actively support and guide home learning and community wellbeing through a variety of channels. ISP has put in place a comprehensive online curriculum and teaching support protocol for all pupils.

You can consult the complete ISP Online / Home Learning site here: ISP Online / Home Learning

We are grateful for the professionalism and flexibility demonstrated by our teaching staff and look forward to working together with our community to continue to support your child(ren)'s studies and our community wellbeing. The ISP Home Learning Protocol will remain in place during the entirety of the school's closure and / or any required delay for students to return to campus (due to travel restrictions or other government directives).

We understand that you have a variety of questions as regards this unprecedented set of circumstances, and we would invite you to consult our Online / Home Learning website regularly. We will continue to add information, shared resources and answers therein.

We wish to offer our deepest thoughts and support to those both within the ISP community, as well as abroad, who are very directly impacted by COVID-19.

    Kind regards,
    John Burns
