Supporting ISP
The Office of External Affairs, located in 13 rue Chardin, encourages support of ISP by ensuring clear and transparent communications, by helping to create a culture of giving and asking, and by strengthening the alumni network.
The International School of Paris believes in partnerships. Supporting ISP begins by building relationships with our current students and parents, our alumni, our former parents, former faculty and friends of the School. This support is what enriches and expands the world-wide network of our ISP family.
Building a community of support begins on the first day you enter the School. What strikes you immediately are the happy, welcoming smiles of our students, teachers and parents. You will be pleasantly surprised to see that support comes in many forms at ISP.
Our faculty and staff support our students every day in the classroom. They cheer them forward on the athletic fields and on stage. They give their time and talents to ensure that our students are well prepared for their next adventure, be it in another international school or for university.
Our Board of Trustees is made up of parents and former parents who, as volunteers, provide leadership, vision, and fiduciary support to the School. They also support ISP in tangible ways, individually and collectively, making annual donations to the Fund for ISP.
Our PTA works hard to ensure the well-being of our students and parents, and our faculty and staff as well. They provide welcome workshops, hot lunches, language conversation groups and book clubs, a spectacular International Night gala, and so much more.
Our current parents work as volunteers for the many events at the School, provide daily assistance in our libraries, help teachers in the classrooms, speak at Career Day, and provide internship programs for our older students. In addition, parents donate the funds that make a critical difference to ISP’s academic and extra-curricular programs.
Our alumni provide a vast network of services by supporting the School’s mission in their own countries and communities. They connect with each other and their former teachers, and come together in Paris, London, Tokyo or New York City to reminisce and remember their time at the School.
Corporations and businesses understand that ISP provides a special service to their employees. These companies need an international school that understands the needs of their mobile families and that upholds the academic standards for their multi-national children. Many of these businesses make substantial donations to support ISP’s programs and services.
