Giving
"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."
-
Sir Winston Churchill
The International School of Paris depends on the generosity of its world-wide community - parents, alumni, parents of alumni, trustees and friends - who support the School through individual and corporate donations. The Fund for ISP program solicits gifts each year and the funds collected help enrich our academic programs, upgrade and maintain our buildings, and provide ongoing professional training for our teachers.
We believe that each of you wants to know specifically what accomplishments your gifts make possible. The Fund for ISP is a partnership in which your commitment to excellence in international education is made tangible in the School's everyday life.
This year, there are four options for giving to ISP:
This annual appeal directs donations to specific needs at the School, such as new technology, a renovated drama room, a new design technology classroom, a playground at the Primary School, etc. All funds received are used in the same year in which they are raised, and have an immediate effect on student learning.
Capital Gifts are needed to bring in extra funds for special building projects and to give donors an opportunity to make a larger gift to the School over time. Capital gifts may be made in pledges which can be paid over a period of three to five years.
An endowment represents the School’s savings account. It is kept in an interest-bearing account and the interest will eventually allow ISP to have another income source, and to secure its future.
