ISP Today

Since its creation under the name of Pershing Hall in 1964, The International School of Paris (ISP) has grown exponentially. From starting with only 6 students and 5 nationalities, today it boasts close to 700 students, over 60 nationalities and 50 languages.

ISP is the only English-speaking school within the city of Paris and the only school in France to offer all three International Baccalaureate programs. Its IB Diploma results are consistently above world average, and its graduates are admitted to many of the world’s best colleges and universities.

Today, ISP is composed of two campuses in the 16th arrondissement of Paris which are within 20 minutes walking distance from one another. The Primary School is located near the Ranelagh gardens and the Secondary School and Administration buildings are located near Trocadero. Facilities at these campuses include art, music and drama rooms, libraries, a gym, and technology labs.

ISP is governed by a Leadership Team and Board of Trustees. In 2006-2007, the Board of Trustees developed a Strategic Plan which provides guidelines and a plan of action for the development of the school.
