Learning at ISP

The International School of Paris has more than 60 nationalities represented in a student body of about 680, which offers a rich, multi-cultural educational experience for both the staff and students. Our classes are small (5-24 students), allowing a close student-teacher rapport. ISP is the only school in France authorized to offer all three of the IB Programmes : PYP, MYP and Diploma.

PRE-PRIMARY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL (ages 3 to 11):

The School was authorized to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) in June 2004, and has been evaluated in 2007. The Primary School is a warm, friendly learning environment where, in addition to developing the skills and attributes of the PYP, the scope and sequence documents of the PYP are used in all subject areas.

SECONDARY SCHOOL (ages 11 to 18):

The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is in place for Grades 6-10 since the authorization in March 2003. We have offered the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB Diploma) for Grades 11 and 12 since 1985. We are the only school in the Paris area that concentrates exclusively on the IB Diploma. Our Diploma results are always above the world average, with a large number of bilingual Diplomas awarded.

The Curriculum

The International School of Paris is fully authorized by the IB, and offers the following programs: 

Primary Years Programme (PYP)  for Nursery to Grade 5

Middle Years Programme (MYP)  for Grades 6-10 

IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11 and 12
