Welcome to the International School of Paris’s website! As Head of ISP, I am proud to lead such a dynamic and internationally-diverse school. It is my firm belief that an IB World School like ISP offers the best approach to educating and preparing our children for the future.

Founded in 1964, ISP is the only English-speaking school within the city of Paris and the only school in France to offer all three International Baccalaureate programmes: the Primary Years Programme (nursery to grade 5), the Middle Years Programme (grades 6 to 10) and the IB Diploma Programme (grades 11 and 12). Each year, our IB Diploma results have consistently been above the world average.

As soon as you enter our buildings, you will quickly notice our students, who are well-rounded, friendly, tolerant and true global citizens who work hard and enjoy learning.  You will also notice our diversity, with over 60 nationalities represented in the student body. We are equally proud of our graduates who are admitted to many of the world’s best colleges and universities.

Our classes are small, on average between 18-20 students, in order to emphasize individual attention. Classes in art, drama, music and physical education are part of the regular weekly schedule along with numerous after-school activities and regular field trips that take full advantage of our rich surroundings.

ISP has two separate campuses in the 16th arrondissement of Paris that are within 20-minute walking distance from each other. The Primary School campus consists of two beautiful townhouses, joined by a playground. The Secondary School campus, just across the river Seine from the Eiffel Tower, includes three main buildings designed to serve the needs of the arts, the sciences, technology, and other academic disciplines. The School also uses local athletic stadiums, soccer fields, indoor gymnasiums, basketball courts and swimming pools to enhance its Physical Education program. The main drama productions take place in a professional theater nearby.
