IB Theatre
Starting in September 2010, ISP will be offering IB Theatre at both standard and high levels. Together with the Music and Visual Arts, this addition will complete the trio of ISP’s IB Arts curricula.
IB Theatre develops skills needed in many different areas of life. Self confidence, organisational skills, team-work, communication, imagination and technical skills are target competencies; in addition, students will acquire academic knowledge of theatre styles, traditions, forms and movements. IB Theatre is not only important for actors, directors, stage engineers or other theatre-related professionals; the skills learned through drama are extremely useful to lawyers, lecturers, doctors and politicians as well!
School Productions
The school has a long tradition of high quality, ambitious and inspiring drama productions. This academic year, our IB Diploma Coordinator Philip Anderson adapted and directed the pantomime Cinderella. The story was spiced with much humor, many references to local and current topics, and a 1980’s backdrop.

This year’s Primary School Play was a musical called The Golden Ticket, based on Roald Dahl's famous story, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. As you can see from this slide show, a drama production includes much more than just the actual performance!

By clicking on the photos you will be able to see slide shows of these two recent productions.
Save the date!
Grades 6-8 production 'Guys and Dolls' will be performed on April 12th and 13th!
