Is there anything better than a good story? Have you ever wondered how many different versions of Cinderella exist in the world? On May 4th, ISP's Primary School was happy to host Kristin Pedemonti, an international story teller, who brought to us stories and experiences from many parts of the world. Kristin sold her home and most possessions in 2005 to create an organization called Literacy Outreach Belize. She travels village to village in Belize, Central America, providing literacy and storytelling programs, teacher training, library tours, poetry presentations and books.
At ISP Kristin had us all laughing, performing, chanting and enjoying stories. Her performances were a good mixture of fun, seriousness, learning and participation, all adjusted according to the different grade groups.
