The ISP Cubs & Panthers finish the swimming season on top

On Monday, March 20, 2017, ISP's junior Cubs and Panthers assembled to swim against Marymount School at their annual junior swim meet. As the last meet of the season, there was all to swim for.

The swimmers were competing for medals, with the school holding the most overal medals to be crowned the winner. With a maximum of two medals awarded to each swimmer, the students had to decide which strokes were their strongest in order to claim bronze, silver or gold. The students competed in front crawl, backstroke, butterfly and breast stroke, as well as a team relay.

The junior tournament was an opportunity for swimmers from Grade 4 to 8, across the Primary and Secondary School, to come together as one team.

After two hours of competitive swimming, the ISP Cubs and Panthers managed a victory over Marymount School. The Cubs swimmers impressed by finishing with 11 golds between them.

The tournament finished with a round of post-meet high fives between both schools and a quick trip down the slide to finish the season. Well done Cubs, well done Panthers!
