Christine Merveille retired in October 2016 after 20 years' service to the ISP community.
Born and raised in Dunkirk, as a young woman, Christine moved to Paris to study. She began her ISP teaching career in the high School. She left to have her own family and once they were school age returned to ISP Primary School.
In her 20 years' service Christine taught all age groups across the school and even spent one year as the school librarian. Christine knows all of the teachers in both sections of the school and saw many teachers come and go over the 20 years.
Christine believes it is great to be a teacher, "because a teacher is a life-long student, a teacher is a learner". She has seen many changes over the 20 years and believes that the role of the teacher is ever changing.
We wish to thank Christine for her dedicated service to the students, staff and parents of ISP. We will miss her and wish her every happiness in her retirement.
