Celebrating Intercultural Friendships, Lifelong learning and the City of Lights on ISP's 50th Anniversary Cruise on the Seine

The City of Lights provided the perfect backdrop for the International School of Paris’ 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, May 23, 2015, when over 350 people – current and former parents and staff, as well as many of our alumni – gathered together for an evening of delicious food, delightful music and marvellous company! The banks of the Seine flowed by as conversations around the tables touched upon events, anecdotes and common friends from the 50 years of history. We had been hoping for good weather and, in spite of early warnings, got that, enabling us to enjoy the scenery from the deck as well.

After dinner, we had the pleasure of hearing musical performances by many talented members of the community, including the Primary School choir, and we finally danced the evening away with ISP’s extraordinary “house band”, the Doodads, who got everyone on the move! There is a rumour that one of the senior members of staff even got up and sang with them, but this is not yet verified by our reporters… What a great party!

If you missed this one – don’t worry. It was such a fun evening that we will certainly not wait another 50 years to repeat it!
