Applying to ISP

You have decided that the International School of Paris is the right fit for your family! The Admissions Team is here to help you throughout the application process.

We ask for a selection of different elements as part of an application file. These elements help us get to know your child(ren) and family better and prepare for a transition to our community. Academic testing or interviews are not standard but may be requested in some circumstances.

We have designed a clear and transparent application process but you can contact the Admissions Team at any time if you have questions.

Read THE ISP Admissions Policy

What Is the Application Process?

Submitting an Application

Applications are submitted online through the ISP OpenApply platform. Click on the button below to get started.

The OpenApply platform guides you as you complete the necessary application documents. Some forms are completed directly in OpenApply, while other documents must be scanned and uploaded to OpenApply.

Please note that all documents written in a language other than English or French must be accompanied by an official translation.

How Are Applications Reviewed and Acceptances Sent?

We begin our application reviews in December of the current academic year for the next academic year. However, December is NOT an application deadline. We continue to accept applications throughout the year and we regularly welcome new families after the beginning of the academic year, with the close support of our academic and Wellbeing colleagues.

Some grades fill up quickly and so we always encourage families to begin the application process as early as possible. Please contact the Admissions Team for the latest information on space availability per grade.

Once your application is complete the Admissions Committee will begin a review of your file. The process typically takes 10 to 15 working days. The Admissions Committee is composed of members of the Admissions Team, the Primary or Secondary School Principal and the Head of School. Additional colleagues may be consulted for specialist advice, including the Wellbeing Team or the Learning Support Team.

If an application is successful, you will receive an official acceptance letter by email with instructions on completing the registration process and securing your child(ren)'s place(s) at ISP.

If we have reached our maximum capacity in any grade level, successful candidates are placed in a waiting pool. Please see the ISP Admissions Policy for full details on how we manage such situations.
